A Josephian student.

Hello! I skipped school today, Thursday. I dislike school on Thursdays because

1. Assembly

When there's assembly. It's scary all the way to the stadium and all the way back from the stadium. Me, being in an all boys school in Form 6. Although I'm older than most of the boys but still, it's boys I'm talking about. They don't disturb but there's just too many of them. I was from an all girls school before. One of my classmate was from a mixed school but she's not used to it being in an all boys school too. Everywhere crowded with boys. I'm just not used to it. One time I ever knocked a guy's behind. UGH! Luckily he didn't turn back to look at me. It was embarrassing.

Oh, the principal is sooo MEAN! All of the students gather in one hot HOT stadium. There are fans around but he won't allow anyone to turn it on! Damnit! Some teachers carry rotans around. I'm not against that but I am scared. I'm not sure if they've canned a girl before. Hmmm. . . . Another thing is after assembly, when leaving the stadium, a long long line of prefects standing at the side checking you out. It's like walking the red carpet, only there are no paparazzi, just prefects. I've never experienced that in St Teresa. I'm guessing St Joseph have double the prefects than in St Teresa.

2. School ends at 2.20p.m. No escape.

I don't like staying back in school for extra lessons, extra curriculum activities and after school activities. Anything after 12.45p.m! Or 12p.m. on Fridays! In Form 6 St Joseph, from Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we're only allowed to go back at 2.20p.m. while on Wednesday 1.40pm. On Monday after school we have this thing called 'Research'. Dislike. Tuesday and Wednesday, curriculum. I don't think I need to join. Thursdays, extra lesson. Sleepy. And no MUET on Thursdays. MUET is my favourite subject.

So I guess I only have 2 reasons why I dislike going to school on Thursday. I've been skipping Thursdays for 3 weeks and next Thursday I'm not going to school anymore. Yes, next Wednesday is my last day in St Joseph.

Honestly, I love being a St Joseph student. I even wish I were a boy! Just kidding. . . . But, seriously. I love St Joseph school better than my previous school St Teresa. The facilities are better. School is bigger. Teachers most of them I love. I don't mean St Teresa have bad facilities or lousy teachers. St Teresa is a great school too, just smaller. St Joseph is like huge, wide! I'm glad I did my time there =)
